Goal
Native Experience
The goal is a dedicated in-house ACARS solution designed to work directly with VA Nexus from the ground up.
Vision
Deeper Integration
Future flight sessions, operational statuses, and pilot reporting are planned to connect more tightly across the platform.
What Nexus ACARS is being built to become
The long-term goal is not just another tracker. Nexus ACARS is being shaped as a more connected operational client that feels like a true part of the wider VA Nexus platform.
Connected Flight Sessions
Flight tracking is planned to communicate more directly with VA Nexus flight sessions, pilot activity, and operational workflows.
Status-Based Operations
Planned status flow includes key phases such as boarding, taxi, departure, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, and deboarding.
Modern Pilot Experience
The future direction is a cleaner and more modern pilot-facing client experience that better matches the look and feel of the VA Nexus product family.
Room to Expand
Nexus ACARS is being designed with growth in mind, opening the door for richer reporting, tighter integrations, and stronger operational tools over time.
